First sample of 2018
First sample of 2018
The first FreshWater Watch sample was taken yesterday from an urban stream in Yorkshire in the UK. The water looked colourless, meaning that no algae was visible and the turbidity (the cloudiness of the water) was very low too.
We're delighted to see people getting out on New Years Day and testing water, check out all the water samples taken all over the world on our data map. We'd love to hear what you'll be doing in 2018 to protect water, or reduce your water footprint. Did you know, if you're doing a challenge like Dry January or Vegan-uary, you'll be saving gallons and gallons of water too?
Find out more ways to take action today, this week, this month and the year ahead, and calculate your water footprint in your profile.
